Mission Friends

Mission Friends is a group of preschoolers that meets from 7-8pm following handbell practice. It is a safe time for these little ones to spend time together. In this class, you can expect the children to take part in crafts, games, and stories from the Bible. The group learns about Jesus, missionaries, and where those missionaries are located. Every month the children participate in a different missions project. They are as follows:

Spetember: Collect offering for Janie Chapman.

October: Collect canned goods for world hunger and participate in reverse trick or treat.

November: Participate in gathering prision packs and shoe boxes.

December: Sell cookies at missions night and make small banks for the Lottie Moon Christmas offering.

January: Support Connie Maxwell children's homes.

February: Help the G.A.'s by collecting for "Souper Bowl" and make valentines and snowballs for a loved one.

March: Sell cookies at missions night and make banks for Annie Armstrong.

April: Make migrant health kits.

May: Collect boxes of crayons and coloring books for a local hospital.

This year promises to be filled with excitement! Always remember our mission friends and leaders in your prayers. Mission Friends are very special little people: a treasure; after all, they are the future church leaders and missionaries. It is our pleasure to start them on this journey!
